Uganda 〉Kapyoma Washing Station

We're always looking for unique offerings and when we had the opportunity to get coffee from a brand new producer in Uganda, Cahoots Coffee, we were excited to try it. We're stoked we did and are excited to bring it to you.

In the cup there's a subtle sweetness, with the classic clean profile of a washed coffee. The finish gives way to lovely undertones of dark chocolate and cocoa.

Origin: Kapyoma trading center ⇢ Kapchorwa ⇢ Mt. Elgon ⇢ Uganda

Elevation: 1,600-2,150 MASL

Variety: ~60% SL14, 30% SL 28, 10% Nyasaland

Process: Washed

Processing details: pulped (Penagos machine), fermented underwater for ~18 hours, washed in grading channels.
